DJ Associates Closing Down
DJ Associates (DJ@) has decided to close down and its members will no longer receive £10m of PLI cover with their membership subscriptions.

The owner of DJ Associates (DJ@) has formally given notice to its membership that the organisation is closing down.  A message on their website states personal reasons for winding down the operation.

DJ Associates members received Public Liability Insurance with their membership and this will end on the 31st August 2010.  DJ@ are not accepting new memberships and all current members and PLI cover will expire on the same date.

The owner was instrumental in negotiating better deals and bringing competition to the Public Liability Insurance market for disc jockeys.

The NADJ feels that there is enough room in the market to cater for DJs from all sectors and we would like to wish the owner all the very best for the future.

The statement on the DJ Associates website reads:

Dear Member

It is with regret that I hereby announce that due to personal reasons, DJ@ will not be continued into the 2010 / 2011 season.

We are currently not accepting any new memberships into the association, and all current memberships will cease on their natural expiry date, namely 23.59pm on August 31st 2010.

Please accept this as the required minimum of 30 days written notice that the current PLI benefit of membership will expire on the same date and that there will be no opportunity or option to renew on 1st September 2010.

Therefore please make alternative arrangements for PLI cover from 1st September 2010.

Regards

Dan 'Dukesy'
