NADJ Wales Branch Meeting (September 2010)

The next NADJ South Wales meeting is to be held next Tuesday the 14th September at the Student Union Facilities at the University Of Wales Newport, please do make the effort to attend and support your branch.

Last months family BBQ was a great success and an enjoyable family social occasion for all who made the effort to travel over to How Caple Grange, Ross on Wye.

This months meeting will again be an educational and fun packed event with the added advantage of opportunities to network with DJ colleagues.  There have been very many occasions where branch members have been able to assist each other over the last few months, some of which will be highlighted by your branch committee on Tuesday night.

We anticipate making a change to the regular meeting format for the October meeting which is to be held on Tuesday the 5th, the day after the BPM Show finishes! This is due to a number of conflicting issues with the regular 2nd Tuesday of the month date schedule. This meeting and the BPM Show will be discussed during next Tuesdays get together - watch this space for more info soon.

Wales Branch Meeting - July 2010

Here is your reminder that we have our NADJ South Wales Branch meeting next Monday, (a temporary change from the usual Tuesday; due to a clash with another DJ event over the water in Weston and also necessary as many DJs may be committed to School Discos over the last week before the summer recess).

The last meeting back at the beginning of June was again well attended with 21 DJs coming along and the Wales Branch committee feel confident that this months event will be equally successful for those of you who take the time to come along and enjoy the tangible benefits of networking, not to mention the educational content that is proving popular at the meetings.

This month we will have a hands on comparison of DJ Music software and controllers, including systems from PCDJ, OTS, Virtual DJ, Mixmaester, DJ and Rekord Box.  We also have hardware and PC controllers from Pioneer, Denon, Numark, Cortex and Hercules.

Add in the regular features such as our popular Music Quiz, Members show (from Dan Essex), new equipment demonstrations, the branch shop and DJ Library!

The new date for your diary is Monday 12th July 2010.  Doors open at 7.30pm and the show officially begins at 8pm.
